The weather was promising this morning. Sports Carnival was on the maps. The Lunch boxes had to be filled as usual, but there needed to be more of everything, as those 3 hungry kids never have enough. :-)
Being Sugar free and eating a Plant based diet has not stopped my family on achieving their goals.
How often do I hear, the kids need some sugar to get enough energy to race, to sprint, to swim. Well, Amira won the School swimming carnival and the inter-school one as well. She won the cross country school event and the inter-school one. She scored a fantastic 24th place in Perth on the State Cross country out of 240 kids.
Rohan did never win, but is always right up there. Battling between 3rd and 4th. Which is fantastic for a boy who always only wakes up and is ready to go when the race is over. ;-)
Riona is too little yet to participate in the big races and competitions, but I have no doubt, that she will be doing exactly as fine as her siblings do. Let's see what today's sports carnival brings. #Powerfuel makes you go stronger for longer.
Today we went to the Thomas Hogg Oval to compete in our school's
faction athletics carnival. I came champion girl for my year group, Riona came runner up in her year group and Rohan..... Well...Rohan woke up after the race had finished but he still got a second and two thirds. I can honestly say that I ruined my chance at the 100 metre by messing up the start. I false started, and expecting the gun to go off again, I pulled back and realised my mistake just a millisecond too late. Overall I believe that we all did really well.
