First of all I would like to apologies for not blogging about day 2 sooner, but I woke up #sick on Sunday morning and it just got worse over the course of the day. It started with a headache but by the the third race I couldn't even stand up without being dizzy. Mum made me eat some lemon because of the vitamins, but since the lemon was so sour it woke my body up before the vitamins could kick in.
Before the first race we had a sighting lap, so we could see if the track had changed overnight. Luckily it didn't. I don't think I was fully awake for the first #race because I came 6th and that was definitely not my best race. In the second race I was doing really well in 4th position until I spun out in the second lap and I ended up coming 6th again. Someone in my group flipped the quad - in the first and second race - and someones quad caught fire. There were 4 accidents on the weekend 3 of which were in my group. We seem to be accident prone. ;) In the third race I was determined to finish in a good position. I ended up coming 3rd, which I was really, really happy about. When I went over the whoops in the last lap, I hit a bump in one of the whoops and almost fell off the quad. I was holding on for dear life as one of my legs was ripped of the quad and I used all of my weight and all of my strength to swing my leg back over the side of the quad. I am really, really super happy with my overall position.
