Sundays we arrive home very late after racing! All we want to do is going to bed & sleep but we have our chores to do first! Feeding all the animals, cleaning them out and make sure everything is safe and sound!
Cleaning the bikes and gear is our after school task on Monday!
But until we are home from the school bus and have eaten something, it's already time for Rohan and Riona's Kids Pole training! I have to look after Ziara, which is not an easy task at the moment! She is acting like a real toddler! 😜
So we completely forgot about our bikes in the caravan!
Daddy wasn't very impressed when he came home from work, to say it nicely!
We got the whole story about waisting money, disrespecting our bikes and gear, not deserving to race etc! He was possibly right, but man, it was raining like mad and the temperature was horrible! We may have forgotten on purpose 🤔
On Tuesday morning 5:30am we got woken up, to go clean our bikes!
It was 4.3 degrees, with the wind blowing like crazy! Holding the pressure cleaner with no feelings in our finger was hard! Very hard!
Next time we will clean them on time! I am sure of it!
We have learned another lesson today, that racing is only a very small part about Motor Sport! The bike preparation , organisation, packing, training on and off the bike, eating right for the highest possible performance, cleaning and taking care of gear is so much bigger then the race itself!
Do we really want to do that?
Amira: yessss, I want to race!
Rohan: yes, I'll quit school for it?
Riona: yes, as long as I can race my 50cc forever and don't need to change gears! 😂
