On the 21/5/17 We drove to Bunbury to compete in the 2nd State Round. After a night of heavy rain and strong winds we were all happy to have an almost rain free day on the day of the race. The track was very slippery in practice and to be honest I couldn't gather a lot of speed on the quad to go full speed, since a slippery track means a quad that's hard to control. In the first race when someone passed me I fought back and passed again, that lap turned out to be my fastest lap of the day. Rohan had a reason to be proud of himself when he had a really bad start and then still managed to catch up to 9th place. Rohan made sure that him and his friends had plenty of time to play in between, before and after the races (including at the end when he didn't help pack up). Riona though not riding had quite some fun herself, she played with a girl called Heidi and Heidi's little brother Kent, who were there to watch their brother race. I myself had fun with them because in between the races Riona, Heidi and I would walk around and watch the other races. We did however pay extra close attention to the 50cc auto, 65cc and the 85cc classes because our brothers raced in those classes. Overall It was an awesome weekend and we all had lots of fun.
